In a groundbreaking collaboration, McLaren Automotive and the LEGO Group created a life-size, drivable replica of the iconic McLaren P1™, made entirely from LEGO Technic elements.

Crafted with an impressive 342,817 pieces, this unique vehicle was put to the test by McLaren Formula 1 driver Lando Norris as he completed a thrilling lap around the historic Silverstone Circuit.

The life-size LEGO Technic McLaren P1™ weighs approximately 1,220 kg and features fully functional steering, marking a first for LEGO big builds that allows a model to navigate corners on a racetrack. This extraordinary creation was the result of 8,344 hours of hard work by a dedicated team of 23 specialists from both the LEGO and McLaren teams.
